Somebody left a pro-Kickstarter poem on the Facebook page for the New Zealand film Boy. This is adorablex10. (via kickstarter)

New Zealand-based filmmaker Taika Waititi has a lot going for him: comic cred (Flight of the Conchords); an Oscar nod; and a feature-length film, Boy, that is his country’s biggest hit in history. What he still needs? A US release. His project will help him bring this charmingly off-kilter tale of a young boy and his dad to the States. The film is about how, no matter how old we are, we all have a little growing up to do — but if Taika’s amazingly likable video updates are any proof, we sort of want him to stay a big kid forever! So, as the locals say: Bloody good.
Whoa! Michael Jackson’s nephew throwing his support behind the US opening of BOY!!
In theaters March 2!
“My dad’s not here right now. He’s a busy man. He’s a master carver, deep-sea treasure diver, the captain of the rugby team, and he holds the record for punching out the most people with one hand”

“Yes, he’s in the same cell block as my dad”
“Not anymore, he escaped”
“How?”
“He dug a hole underneath the fence”
“With what?”
“A spoon”
